Mountain Bike Atlantic

About

Mountain Bike Atlantic makes it easy to find and ride Atlantic Canada’s trail networks. New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island feature hundreds of kilometres of sanctioned singletrack.

We profile the networks, the communities around them, and the trips worth planning your season around.

Where It Started

Mountain Bike Atlantic was established in 2019, bringing together stakeholders from all four Atlantic provinces around a shared goal: putting the region on the map as a mountain biking destination.

What It Is Today

Today, Mountain Bike Atlantic continues as a volunteer-driven resource, maintained by people who ride here and are passionate about growing the sport in our region.

Dose Design House builds, hosts, and maintains the platform as contributed work, in collaboration with Be Rad Adventures. Giving back to the community that we hold dear.

Mountain Bike Atlantic is not a governing body, a club, or a membership organization. Every network listed here belongs to the local volunteers, clubs, and associations who built them, maintain them and and you to try them.

What Riding Here Is Like

Atlantic Canada earned its reputation on technical, rooty, rocky trails, and that character is still the backbone of the region. A wave of bike parks and purpose-built networks has widened the range of options considerably, so a trip east no longer means committing to one style of riding – you can have it all.

Wherever you are out here, you are never far from the coast. Finish a ride, find the ocean, eat some great food. Our craft beer and food scene has grown up alongside the trails, and the two pair wonderfully.
