Most trails in this area provide an option that anyone on a bike will enjoy. Pasadena enjoys a mix of cross country trails, the Pine Hill pump track and more advanced options in Jam Jam and Grumpy Stump. Ginger Route is a fantastic trail located in the middle of Corner Brook that can be accessed through the parking lot of the Margaret Bowater Park. Its bench-cut trails weave through the hillside and is a natural pairing with Cub Mountain just up the road. Curry Climb pushes riders seeking some vertical, and awards you with an incredible view of Corner Brook and the Humber Valley.
Intermediate riders make your pick; almost every trail in this area features a combination of technical sections, flowing singletrack and optional features. Ginger Route and Cub Mountain are located in close vicinity and can act as a great precursor to catching the sunset at the top of the Curry Climb, not far from downtown Corner Brook. Now that you’ve gotten your warm-up out of the way, head down the road to take a shot at Goldmine and Moose Knuckle trails. Keep going to Pasadena to visit Gumpy Stump and Jam Jam.
Goldmine and Moose Knuckle trails offer advanced riders steep long descents weaving through old forests and features. Both trails have standout features you’ll remember them by; Goldmine ends with a long wooden berm and Moose Knuckle has a cabin that’s a popular stopping place around halfway down the mountain.
