The Mountain Bike Atlantic Summit & Festival is a 4-day celebration of mountain biking as well as a conference about the tourism & growth opportunity for Atlantic Canada.
Summit (Thursday to Friday) This conference is curated for anyone who is looking to learn about opportunities that exist for both establishing and strengthening mountain biking and adventure tourism destinations.
Expand your knowledge of the growing outdoor recreation industry of mountain biking by attending a series of speaker-led workshops that facilitate conversations about the opportunities mountain biking brings to Atlantic Canada.
SUMMIT: Thursday, June 2nd 2022, 9am to 8pm

- 9:15am to 12pm – Speaker-Led Discussions
- Mountain Biking in Atlantic Canada: Welcome from Sugarloaf Provincial Park, Mountain Bike Atlantic, and the City of Campbellton
- The Singletrack to Success: Community Benefits & Opportunities of Mountain Biking with Jackie Oncescu, PhD Associate Professor I Recreation & Sport Studies, Faculty of Kinesiology, University of New Brunswick
- How creating an MTB alliance helped elevate a region with Laurie Roberge , General Coordinator and Chief Product Officer at Quebec Mountain Biking and Alexandre Lemerise Mountain Bike Development Consultant.
- 12pm to 1pm – Lunch (included)
- 1pm to 4pm – Speaker-Led Discussions
- Trails for Everyone with Jane McCulloch, Trail Industry Co-Chair, NB Provincial Trails Advisory Committee
- Beer Leagues and Women+ Groups: Community Building through MTB with Mylène Després, Codiac Cycling Trails, Les Dusty Ladies, La Station
- Trails for conservation and community collaboration with Lawrence Plug, Director of Trails, McIntosh Run Watershed Association
- 4pm to 6pm – Crafty Chats (brew token included)
- Discuss exciting topics with leaders from the Atlantic region in this collaborative evening
