Mountain Bike Atlantic 2021 Summit & Festival

Notice to Postpone the Mountain Bike Atlantic Fall Summit & Festival to 2022

Navigating the restrictions for events during a global pandemic certainly created a few hurdles for planning the Mountain Bike Atlantic Fall Summit and Festival, but our team optimistically charged forward. Recently however, we have learned about the threat of a provincial-wide strike that could completely halt the operations of our host venue, Sugarloaf Provincial Park.

With the goal of making this event a great celebration of mountain biking on Canada’s East Coast, we have decided that it is best to postpone this event to spring of 2022. Our organizing committee is already working on this, and we look forward to releasing the schedule and ticket information later this month, so you can plan accordingly.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and thank you for understanding that we would rather cancel now and look forward to hosting you next year than risk putting on an event that has to navigate both a strike and a pandemic.

We are offering full refunds or transfers to ticket holders, so you can choose from the following 2 options:

1. Refund back to the original payment method used to buy the ticket (we completely understand!)

2. Transfer my ticket to the spring event (thank you!)

Thank you and see you at Sugarloaf Bike Park in the spring!

The Mountain Bike Atlantic Summit & Festival Organizing Committee and Sugarloaf Bike Park

September 2021

The Mountain Bike Atlantic Summit and MTB Festival is scheduled for September 24th and 25th, 2021

@Sugarloaf Bike Park, Atholville NB

Our annual Summit and MTB Festival brings together mountain bikers, business owners, trail managers, and other stakeholders to learn, network, and grow the mountain biking community in Atlantic Canada. Rotating throughout the provinces, the Summit facilitates valuable conversations that unite four Atlantic provinces in an effort to showcase the east coast as a mountain biking destination.

The Mountain Bike Atlantic Summit & Festival is a two-day celebration of mountain biking in Canada’s East that includes workshops, an expo of vendors, group rides, swag, and a lot of riding and discussions about riding!

This is for anyone who is looking to learn about or expand their current knowledge on the growing outdoor recreation industry of mountain biking.

If you are in parks, recreation, tourism, part of a mountain bike club, or a business looking to expand clientele base, then this event is for you!

There will be lots of time to network with people from all across Atlantic Canada who love to ride, build and maintain trails, and spread the word about the growing MTB scene on the east coast of Canada!

Check out this Blog Post from our first Summit in 2019 for more information on what this event usually looks like!
