A New Quest in Canada’s East
The Quest Carbon Cycles Story
The east coast has a new bicycle manufacturer, and we want you to know about it.
Quest Carbon Cycles established operations as a bicycle manufacturer on Prince Edward Island in late fall of 2018 with a focus on premium carbon fiber fat bikes that would be sold direct-to-consumer.
Throughout 2019, the company finalized its product offerings, secured suppliers, built a website, organized local product demos, and built a few bikes on a custom order basis. Most of 2020 was spent defining their product line, securing frame and component suppliers for 2021 and re-branding both the company and its product lines.
addition of full-suspension mountain, road, and gravel bikes
With a new website launching end of June 2021, the Quest direct-to-consumer model remains, but now includes a partnership with Mike’s Bike Shop and the addition of full-suspension mountain, road, and gravel bikes. Quest credits Mike’s wealth of experience and credibility with positive exposure to their ’boutique brand’.
Quest plans for marketing include highlighting the cycling landscapes in the Atlantic Provinces while working to become an anchor for an emerging tourism sector in the Albert County region.
Quest has now setup their new base of operations in Hillsborough, New Brunswick. Their motivation for the move? The Fundy Coast being an international draw and a hub for cycling in Canada.
driven by committing to the healthy activity of cycling
The Quest vision hopes to see local businesses flourish as demand for accommodations, cuisine, retail, etc. grow to meet demand created by cyclists and other visitors. All of this is driven by committing to the healthy activity of cycling on amazing natural terrain and infrastructure that is ready and waiting.
As a company with big plans, Quest is dedicated to the promotion, access, safety and economic development of the biking community and its
impact on quality of life.
A new 2800 square ft. facility based in Hillsborough
A new 2800 square ft. facility based in Hillsborough near the White Rock trail system will allow the Quest team to engage with their community even more. With plans to open a Quest Cafe offering coffee, local craft beer and local food, this manufacturing and retail facility will no doubt become a destination for cyclists.
